ICE is a domestic terror organization.

We have heard fear mongering from conservatives concerning immigrants and gangs and organized systematic destruction of the American populace from some dark shadowy organizations. They claim that they have taken over apartment complexes in Colorado, running drugs in motorboats from the coast of Venezuela up to the Southern US coast, and even voting illegally in multiple elections. Despite none of these claims ever having evidence behind them or any kind of consistency, one thing we can see for sure is that they aren’t doing to US citizens what our own federal government is doing.

Murdering them in broad daylight in cold blood.

I’m writing this on the same day the federal organization, ICE, has murdered a woman in Minneapolis. I have seen a video, one you’ve probably seen again by the time you’re reading this, of a woman being accosted by an ICE agent and trying to get away from them in her vehicle. An agent tries to open her door, she backs away from him, angles to leave, and another agent unloads multiple rounds into her windshield.

She was killed immediately and crashed her vehicle into another parked car as her foot fell onto the accelerator.

Even if you think you should “always comply”. Even if you think she was somehow the belligerent in this case. Do you really think that a traffic violation is grounds for summary execution?

This wasn’t the police, this wasn’t a rogue entity, this wasn’t a South American invading gang that did this. This was an organized entity that has taken over parts of an urban center in the Midwest that exercised lethal force against a civilian population. This was an act of terrorism.

This was the work of ICE.

An organization that has done nothing but sow terror among communities and escalation situations unnecessarily.

The gang that needs to be disposed of isn’t groups of brown people seeking asylum, it isn’t immigrants or day laborers, it’s the organized federal entity that is openly murdering and terrorism against the citizens of the United States.

Make no mistake, that is specifically what this is as defined by the FBI themselves: violence or the threat of violence against civilians to create fear and achieve political or ideological goals. That is what this was and it is what ICE stands for. They are very intentionally targeting civilians, eroding civil rights, and now upgrading to summary executions against US citizens. These are acts of terror and they are being sanctioned by the federal government against US citizens.

Of course, before the identity of the woman was released, we already see a media spin from the republicans justifying shooting an unarmed woman at point blank range. As if someone trying to get away from a masked gunman who doesn’t identify himself is grounds to summarily shoot them multiple times in the face. As if someone who is deceased due to an ICE agents’ weapon is intentionally speeding away after the fact to somehow retroactively justify the slaying. There is no scenario here where lethal force is justified against civilians nor for unreasonable search and seizure by ICE, only justifications for carrying out terror attacks on US citizens.

I implore anyone who considers themselves a patriot, a leader, or someone who believes in the rule of law to oppose ICE. Community leaders should be calling for ICE to be removed from their communities and abolished. State governments should be mobilizing their state apparatuses to expel this invasive terrorist organization. Elected leaders should be calling for special sessions and using their authority to defund and disband these bad actors. There are far more effective and Constitutional ways to enforce immigration law and deploying armed unnamed anonymous gunman is not the way to do it.

Abolish ICE and stand for justice against this wrongful murder.
